Support American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression by bidding on art from Children’s Illustrators
This yearly auction is hosted by the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression (ABFFE) to help support the free speech right for children and ending literary censorship.
The art in this Auction has been donated by leading illustrators in the Children’s book industry. The works included in this auction are original works signed by the artist and high quality prints.
A group of children’s illustrators inspired by a warm up exercise.
One of the greatest things I have found in children’s illustration is support from the other illustrators and writers that create art for children. It is fully proven by this blog post.

This piece is a submission to the tumblr blog alphabeasts. It is a similar project to Illustration Friday except specifically fictional creatures. This is a fun project for current children’s book illustrators looking for additional sketch inspirations.
